The grand finals of Robinsons Supermarket’s “Deli Music Festival” is happening this Friday, September 9, at Robinsons Place Manila where the top-scoring bands from all over the country will vie for the grand prize!

Last July, Robinsons Supermarket kicked-off the “Deli Music Festival” where amateur bands with 5 to 10 members from across the country were invited to participate. Interested bands secured their “Deli Music Festival” application form from the Customer Service counter of participating branches of Robinsons Supermarket by presenting accumulated receipts worth P2,000 of any deli products from the sponsor brands.

Bands who passed the screening performed a 6-8 minute set using any music genre except for heavy metal. They also come up with their own arrangement of the Robinsons Supermarket jingle.

The top three (3) scorers from the elimination rounds which took place at Robinsons Place General Trias last August 5 and Robinsons Place Antipolo last August 26 advanced to the grand finals which is happening this Friday in Robinsons Place Manila.

There were also two out-of-town events held at the following malls:

a. August 12, 2016 – Robinsons Place Tagum Davao
b. September 1, 2016 – Robinsons Place Palawan

One (1) band from each provincial leg was awarded as the champion. The non-winning groups received consolation prizes.

Prizes are as follows:

ELIMINATION ROUND:

• Top 3 bands will receive P10,000.00 each
• 3 consolation prize – P5,000 each

PROVINCIAL ‘ON-THE-DAY’ COMPETITION:

• Champion – P30,000.00
• 5 consolation prize – P5,000.00

MANILA GRAND FINALS:

• Champion – P50,000.00
• 5 consolation prize – P5,000.00

Celebrity Rocker Chef Rolanda Laudico and Award-winning recording artist Ebe Dancel will serve as judge in the grand finals to be hosted by Tonipet Gaba. Dancel will also perform during the finals happening this Friday, September 9, 2016 at Robinsons Place Manila.
