Fifth Harmony successfully held the Manila leg of their 7/27 World Tour at the jam-packed Mall of Asia Arena on April 5, 2017 as part of a series of awesome concerts this year brought to us by Smart Music Live.
The world’s hottest all-female pop and R&B group who was formed via Simon Cowell’s “The X Factor USA” a couple of years ago delighted their Filipino fans by performing their multiplatinum hits from their sophomore album “7/27” like “Squeeze,” “Scared of Happy,” “Work from Home,” “All in My Head (Flex)” and “That’s My Girl.”
The fabulous quartet also sang hits from their debut album “Reflection” like “Bo$$,” “Sledgehammer,” and “Worth It.”
Dinah Jane Hansen, Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei and Lauren Jauregui also paid homage to the Philippines by wearing Filipino inspired outfit with the word “Pilipinas” printed on their shirts.
They also spoke some tagalog words that they’ve learned while in the country like “Mahal Kita” and “Maganda Kayong Lahat” to the delight of local harmonizers.
It can be remembered that last year, their fifth member Camila Cabello left the group to pursue a solo career that’s why the Asian leg of their world tour and all other remaining 7/27 tour this year will only feature the 4 girls. But despite the loss of one member, the group continued to slay charts around the world.
After Manila, the girls are flying to Malaysia and Singapore this week to complete their 7-country Asian tour.
Prior to the highly-anticipated concert, Smart subscribers got the chance to win pre-events invites and VIP tickets via social media contests.
So who’s next on Smart Music Live? Ooops, It’s Britney Spears!
