Bianca’s (Denise Laurel)’s worsening mental condition led her to be locked up in a therapy home, but this will not stop her from getting Marco (Carlo Aquino) back and wrecking Camille’s (Shaina Magdayao) life in the Kapamilya afternoon series “The Better Half.”

After her daughter’s tragic death, Bianca has little by little lost her grip on reality. She even started seeing Sheryl (Regine Angeles) and Juancho (Epy Quizon), the two people she killed who appear to her as hallucinations.

Despite this, Bianca is determined to get out of the therapy home and prove that she does not need to undergo treatment so she can finally put all her plans to work.

As Bianca struggles with her mental health, Marco and Camille try to mend their hearts as they unexpectedly see each other in Dumaguete to move on from their past and continue with their lives as friends.

The series also entered a new chapter with the introduction of Ashley (Emmanuelle Vera), Rafael’s (JC De Vera) ex-girlfriend who just came back home from America. She will test Rafael’s love for his wife Camille as she tries to win his heart and help him move on from the pain he experienced from his marriage.

Will Bianca be able to inflict harm on their lives? Can Marco and Camille finally continue their lives as friends or will they feel love for each other once again? What change will Ashley bring now that she is back in Rafael’s life?

Meanwhile, in the series’ set-visit held recently, the cast thanked the viewers for their unwavering support and shared their excitement about the second book of the series.

“We are grateful for the love and support of viewers. They made the series’ second book possible. Our efforts are all worth it,” said Shaina.

“There are more revelations to watch out for now that the characters are in the ‘moving forward’ stage. Even us actors do not know where the story will lead to, so we are very excited,” JC added.
