Julia Uses Love to Break Spell in ‘Wansapanataym Presents: Annika Pintasera’ Finale

Annika (Julia Montes) will use love as her weapon this Sunday (July 9) as she fights against time with only one magic brush left to set her free from the spell in the last week of “Wansapantaym Presents: Annika Pintasera.”

As her time runs out, Annika’s quest to find a true love’s kiss gets more difficult and fairy Sylvia (Maris Racal) fails to cure the spell she cast. Making matters worse is Annika’s ex-fiancé Glen (Nico Antonio), who comes back to get revenge and put her life and Jerome’s (JC Santos) family in danger.

Will Annika run out of time and be forever stuck inside the magical painting? How will she find the man who will give her a true love’s kiss? Will they be safe from Glen?

The inspiring story of Annika (Julia Montes) in “Wansapantaym Presents: Annika Pintasera” proves that love has the power to change even the most selfish people, as she transformed from being too critical of others into being compassionate, now equipped with love for her family and her childhood friend Jerome (JC Santos).

But it was not an easy journey for Annika. At first, she was materialistic and held herself with high regard. However, after getting cursed by fairy Sylvia, she learned to be humble and realized that money and beauty will not always give her the things that will make her happy. She showed that it is important to have a pure heart and put her loved ones’ welfare first before hers.
Love is also what drives Jerome to find the spell that will set Annika free, even if it would cost him his life. Viewers also admire his dedication to give his family a good life as he works hard to provide for them with his noble job.
Setting a good example to young audiences are kids Loti (Amy Nobleza) and Bitoy (Marco Masa), who are respectful of and obedient to their mother. They are also outstanding students who are determined to achieve their dreams to have a bright future.
With lessons about love and family, “Wansapantaym Presents: Annika Pintasera” remains unbeaten in national TV ratings. Last Sunday (July 2), it recorded a national TV rating of 26.7%, versus “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho,” which only got 19.5%, based on data from Kantar Media.
For almost two decades, “Wansapanataym” has inspired different generations of viewers and shared lessons that resonated with Filipinos. A hit among audiences, the program has left a mark on viewers’ hearts and stood the test of time.
