Our very own Xian Lim was chosen to host the Thailand-created beauty pageant–Miss Grand International–this year which is going to take place at the Vinpearl Convention Center in Phú Quốc, Vietnam on October 25.

His co-host will be none other than Miss Grand International 2016 1st Runner Up Nicole Cordoves. Remember her? She lost the crown because of her answer in the final Q&A wherein she favored Donald Trump to become the president of the United States (something like that)?

Anyway, two Filipinos will take hosting job in this fast-rising international beauty pageant which was conceptualized in 2013. This could open opportunities to other Filipino celebrities for hosting stints in other pageants and events throughout the region.
