Two lost individuals, played by Xian Lim and Shy Carlos, change each other’s lives when they go from being addicted to drugs to being addicted to love this Saturday (Sep 2) in “MMK.”

 

After his mother dies, Randy’s (Xian Lim) life starts to fall apart.Aside from skipping school and hanging out with friends, he resorts to using drugs as a form of escape from all the pain he is going through.

 In the middle of his struggles, he meets Mutya (Shy Carlos), a young woman whose insecurities pushed her to become dependent on drugs. The two become friends and frequent ‘buddies,’ eventually growing feelings for each other.

 What will prompt the two to re-assess their lives and change for the better? What obstacles will they face as a couple?
