In a span of 24 hours, the Philippines has produced two international beauty queens namely Karen Ibasco for winning Miss Earth 2017 and Winwyn Marquez for becoming the first Asian to be crowned Reina HispanoAmericana.

Their victories can be attributed mostly to their answer in the final question and answer portion of their respective pageant.
