Welcome to 100 Most Beautiful Women in the Philippines Year 12! It feels like yesterday when we started this annual popularity poll in 2006 and now we are looking for the fairest in the land for our 12th edition.

The pulse of this poll is of course, the fans, who have all the power by voting for their favorite celebrities. And in the span of 11 years, Angel Locsin won the title 8 times! From 2006 to 2010, she was voted by netizens as the most beautiful. That’s 5 years in a row! Kim Chiu took over the title in 2011 while Dawn Zulueta topped the poll in 2012. Angel reclaimed the “most beautiful” title in 2013 and was able to defend it until 2015. However last year, a new winner emerged and she’s none other than Nadine Lustre!

Can Angel Locsin make a comeback this year? Can Nadine Lustre defend the title? Can Dawn Zulueta or Kim Chiu make an upset? Or perhaps a newcomer will be elected? It’s all up to you, the fans, who will pick the most beautiful woman in the country for 2017!

This is how it’s gonna be this year:

1. We are going to have 10 finalists who will vie for your votes.
2. Starmometer will choose 5 celebrities who will fast-track to the Top 10. They will come from last year’s finalists. We will reveal the chosen 5 on December 2, 2017.
3. The remaining 5 will come from an online poll of 40 shortlisted celebrities. This poll will begin at noontime this Saturday, December 2.
4. The poll will be open for 48 hours. We will reveal the Top 5 vote-getters on December 4 in the afternoon and they will complete our 10 finalists.
5. And now the finals: The beautiful 10 will vie for public votes via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube beginning December 4.
6. We will reveal the winner and complete results on December 22, 2017.
