UST Volleyball player EJ Laure took to social media her response to rumors that she got impregnated by young actor Bugoy Carino. The 15-year-old Hashtag member also reacted to why his name became a trending topic on Twitter on March 11, 2018.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News last February, EJ already denied the rumors that she’s pregnant. The “speculations” was ignited after the Volleyball player revealed to her fans last December that she will miss the season (UAAP Season 80) due to a “chronic shoulder injury.”

“Hindi naman totoo ‘yung sinasabi nila. Pero nasa kanila na lang ‘yun, kung ano ang gusto nilang sabihin. Kasi siyempre, tao din naman sila, may sarili silang opinyon,” she said.

“Last year, nagpa-injection ako. After noon, ilang days pa lang, umalis agad kami for Thailand. So hindi ako nakapag-therapy, kasi ‘di ba sa Thailand, sunod-sunod ‘yung training namin. Noong AFC (All-Filipino Conference of the Philippine Superliga) lang siya sobrang na-feel ko ‘yung pain ulit,” Laure added.
