KZ Tandingan Sings Her ‘Singer 2018’ Farewell Song ‘Who You Are’
Even Chinese televiewers were dumbfounded when Filipino pride KZ Tandingan got eliminated on Episode 9 of the reality singing competition “Singer 2018.”
But that’s how it is. Even though the world is now talking about KZ’s unique and eccentric take on Lorde’s “Royals” in the show’s 9th episode which aired Friday night, the Soul Supreme has no regrets whatsoever in joining the Chinese TV program. Her tweet yesterday says it all:
gave everything, every single ounce of strength, and my little heart for every performance. Regardless of the ranking, I hope you guys are proud to be Filipino, because I am, even in a foreign land. 🇵🇭

According to a show’s insider, KZ will return on episode 10 of the show to sing her farewell song. The public voted on Weibo on what should be the Filipina singer’s last song on the show and they picked Jessie J’s “Who You Are.”
