“Bagani” stars Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano received their trophies for being named Box Office King and Queen at the 49th Box-Office Entertainment Awards given by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation.

On her recent Instagram post, Soberano expressed her gratitude to all those who made the feat possible:

Thank you so much Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation Inc. What an honour it is to be called this years Box Office King and Queen. Of course none of this could’ve been made possible without Star Cinema, Tita Malou Santos, the help of our director @kaybash1326 who was constantly pushing me to my limits, Inang Olive Lamasan for bringing back the spark in me, @carmiraymundo and @micodelrosario1 for your guidance throughout the post process of the film. To our loving fans who spent sleepless nights tweeting, instagramming and putting together block screenings all for us THANK YOU. With or without this recognition we still feel like winners because of the unconditional love you show us. Thank you ABS-CBN for believing in me and the LizQuen tandem and for giving us the opportunity to inspire thousands of Filipinos all over the world. To be honest its really us (@enriquegil17 and I) who are inspired by all of you and the happiness we see on all of your faces. To my amazing partner @enriquegil17 who is always by my side, you bring out the best in me in ways nobody else can. I love you!!!
