Signs That The Liver Is Unhealthy

Our liver is the one responsible for absorbing the nutrients and metabolizing food and drugs that we take. It’s also the one that helps in eliminating toxins in our body so just imagine what would happen if our liver is unhealthy.

Know the 3 signs of unhealthy liver:

1. Swollen Abdomen – a swollen abdomen can mean a lot of things but having a liver problem is the most common of it all. The build-up of fluid means that the liver is not able to remove the toxins in the body. If the fluid is not drained immediately, it can cause more harm and complication.

2. Jaundice – or also popular as discoloured skin and eyes on a yellowish hue. This means that a bile pigment is building up in the blood and is unable to be eliminated as waste.

3. Exhaustion – chronic fatigue, weakness of the body, memory loss and confusion can mean that the liver is experiencing too much stress which can lead to liver failure.

If you feel like you have an unhealthy liver, go seek your physician immediately. If you don’t have these signs yet you fear that your liver may be unhealthy, protect it as early as you can through supplements.

By using supplements with Vitamin C and Milk Thistle or Silymarin you may also improve your liver functions. Vitamin C and Milk Thistle help promote the growth of new liver cells while strengthening the liver health thus the prevention of diseases. There are food supplements that are easy to buy which has the combination of Silymarin and Sodium Ascorbate like LiverMarin. LiverMarin has Silymarin and Sodium Ascorbate that may help prevent over-production of insulin, manage SGPT/SGOT levels, prevent liver diseases such as liver cirrhosis and can even help prevent the liver from Hepatitis A and B. If you feel like it’s hard to get this product, do what I did. I checked and found LiverMarin at Mercury Drug!
