Sue Ramirez stars in the last anniversary episode of “Ipaglaban Mo” this Saturday (June 30) as a woman who fights for her freedom from a toxic marriage.
Cristine (Sue) chooses to stay with her boyfriend, Gerald (Joseph Marco), despite his tendency to be overly jealous. However, he becomes even more possessive of Cristine after their marriage.
He begins stalking her at her office, monitoring her every move, and being jealous of every man she encounters, including her cousin whom he had threatened with a gun.
Gerald is also extremely aggressive when it comes to sex, to the point where he forces Cristine to do it while she is tied to the bed.
Cristine reaches her boiling point when Gerald, fueled by jealousy, points a gun at her.
Will the court side with Cristine and grant her petition to leave an abusive marriage?
