‘Sanduguan 2018: The Philippine Int’l Philippine Coverage’ Airs Live on S+A

ABS-CBN Sports, together with WomboXCombo and Mineski TV, will be bringing to Filipinos the biggest DoTA 2 tournament ever with the live broadcast of the “Sanduguan 2018: The International Philippine Coverage” starting Tuesday (August 21) until Sunday (August 26) on S+A, LIGA, and via livestream on sports.abs-cbn.com. Viewers can catch it on high-definition on S+A HD and LIGA HD.

Fans of the popular multiplayer online video game will be able to witness the best teams in the world duke it out in “The International” (TI), the culmination of all the efforts of the various DoTA 2 professional teams all year round, for a crack at glory and the almost $20 million pool prize.

DoTA 2, a very popular Massive Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game developed by Valve Corporation, enjoys a huge following among Filipinos especially since the country has been sending teams to the grandest DoTA 2 event. This year, professional eSports teams TNC Predator and Mineski are representing the Philippines.

However, they are facing steep competition from very experienced pro esports juggernauts like defending champion Liquid PSG, last year’s runner-up Newbee, OG, Vici Gaming, Evil Geniuses, and Invictus Gaming.

“Sanduguan 2018: The Invitational Philippine Coverage” brings together local eSports giants WomboXCombo, Mineski TV, and S+A for a groundbreaking coverage of the eight iteration of TI.  S+A is committed to helping strengthen the local gaming community and promote eSports as a legit and competitive sporting event through broadcast of eSports events. It is also currently airing a major League of Legends tournament and a previous DoTA 2 event in the country.

Don’t miss the heart-pounding action of the various heroes in the virtual world of DoTA 2 in the live broadcast of the “Sanduguan 2018: The International Philippine Coverage” LIVE on S+A, S+A HD, LIGA, LIGA HD, and via livestream on sports.abs-cbn.com starting Tuesday (August 21) until Sunday (August 26).
