“Tawag ng Tanghalan” has sealed its position as the country’s most successful singing-talent competition after it was given the seal of excellence by the Best Choice Awards 2018 for its revolutionary achievements and “excellence in brand reputation, experience, integrity, product quality, and customers’ trustworthiness.”

The Kapamilya singing competition was named the Most Successful Singing-Talent Competition in Philippine Television at the Best Choice Awards Council, which aims to recognize outstanding individuals, companies, products, brands, and service providers.

The Best Choice Awards also hailed “Tawag ng Tanghalan” grand champion Noven Belleza as the Best New Male Singing Artist, and Marielle Montellano as the Best Female Singing Artist.

Now in its third year, “TNT” continues to discover and nurture the best Filipino singers from all around the world, and has produced the international sensation TNT Boys and powerhouse belter Rachel Gabreza, who won a global singing contest Stars of the Albion Grand Prix 2018 in London.

From television, “TNT” has expanded into digital via its YouTube channel TNT Versions or TNTV, where fans can watch TNT singers perform covers of classic hits and their original songs. The channel is a huge hit and recently received a Silver Creator Award from YouTube for surpassing 100,000 subscribers. As of now, the channel has attained almost 200,000 subscribers.

This year, “Tawag ng Tanghalan” also made history as the first singing competition that paved the way for the establishment of a record label, TNT Records, which offers a new OPM sound and original songs from TNT singers.

One of TNT Records’ first offerings include Janine Berdin’s single “Biyaya,” which is making waves on the radio. Sam Mangubat’s singles, including his most recent one titled “Wala Kang Alam,” have consistently topped the MOR 101.9 hit songs chart.

“Tawag ng Tanghalan,” moreover, continues to showcase Filipino artistry and creativity through its growing family of singers, composers, arrangers, and its very own TNT Band.

Aside from “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” the Best Choice Awards also named BoybandPH, composed of Ford Valencia, Joao Constancia, Niel Murillo, Russell Reyes, and Tristan Ramirez, as the Most Promising All-Male Singing Performer.

The Best Choice Awards aims to recognize top companies, products, brands, and service providers through an independent and statistically accurate market research analysis in order to motivate businesses to continue raising the bar of excellence for the benefit of the customers.
