Vania Romoff Celebrates 10th Year via the Metrowear 2018 Fashion Show

Top designer Vania Romoff shines in her ten-year milestone in fashion. As this year’s Metrowear Icon, she showcases her dazzling new collection in the much awaited Metrowear 2018, happening at The Fifth, Rockwell Events Palace this November 22 (Thursday).

The youngest Metrowear Icon at only 30 years of age, the Cebu-raised designer joins the ranks of fellow icons Rajo Laurel, WynnWynn Ong, Francis Libiran, and Cary Santiago who have all presented their gala collections in this highly-coveted formal event that features the best in local fashion design.

Vania is known for her sophisticated aesthetic and for pieces that celebrate the woman’s form in a feminine yet modern style. Her chosen details—from ruffles to bows to fringes and pleats—spark a return to romance but with elegant restraint. This deft touch makes her an industry favorite, from clients to celebrities to stylists, to editors and critics; and her of-the-moment pieces transcend the occasion to become classics.

Some of Vania’s muses include Isabelle Daza, Kim Jones, Kathryn Bernado, Martine Cajucom, Maureen Wroblewitz, and Kelsey Merritt—along with Anne Curtis, Mari Jasmine, Janine Gutierrez, Jessica Wilson, Steph Kienle-Gonzalez, and Clara Aseniero who join Vania in a special cover for Metro Magazine’s November issue.

Likewise, three of her pieces took center stage during the recent ABS-CBN Ball: worn by Bea Alonzo, Leila Alcasid, and Best Dressed of the Night Erich Gonzales, who wore a polished off-shoulder white gown.
