Khalil Ramos Wins Japanese Global Game Show ‘Find the Wasabi in Nagoya’

There is no stage that Filipinos cannot conquer — even a Japanese game show — as Kapamilya star Khalil Ramos defeated other Asian artists and conquered all the missions of the reality-game show “Find the Wasabi in Nagoya,” streaming on ABS-CBN’s streaming service iWant.

Khalil faced several challenges to find the “secret spice” of Nagoya and ended up outperforming singer-actor Daniel Sher of Singapore and actor-model Tay Tawan of Thailand.

As his prize, the Kapamilya star had the chance to perform with one of Japan’s biggest boybands “Boys and Men” in their concert at Nagoya Dome, which was attended by 35,000 people.

For five episodes, Khalil, who is also hailed as the first Pinoy top hunter, showcased his skills and wit in every task, while discovering the unique culture of Japan. Aside from the gripping race of the Asian artists, the show also featured some of Nagoya’s breathtaking tourist spots and mouth-watering cuisines that viewers can also enjoy.

Khalil is only one of the Filipino artists who brought pride to the country as ABS-CBN continues to champion Filipino talent on the world stage.
