Strong and powerful women, led by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, graced the red carpet premiere for Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” at the SM Mall of Asia IMAX Cinema the night before the movie’s official theatrical release. The first female-led superhero title in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) opened in Philippine cinemas yesterday, a fitting celebration of female empowerment this International Women’s Month.
