Super Tekla Plays Dual Role on His First Movie ‘Kiko En Lala’
Comedian Romeo Librada who hails from North Cotabato catapulted to fame when he appeared in Willie Revillame’s GMA-7 game show “Wowowin” as Super Tekla. Although he left the show in a controversial manner, the Kapuso Network decided to put him in the now defunct romantic comedy “Inday Will Always Love You” and other shows like “Alyas Robin Hoodd,” “Sunday PinaSaya,” “Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko,” “All Star Videoke” and more. But it was earlier this year that the 37-year-old got his own show called “The Boobay and Tekla Show” sharing the billing with fellow comedian Boobay.
Super Tekla is set to add another feather on his cap as he landed the titular role in the upcoming comedy movie “Kiko En Lala” which is produced by GMA Pictures. This is the comedian’s first ever lead role on the big screen and he will play twins. Supporting Super Tekla in the movie are Derrick Monasterio, Kiray Celis, Kim Domingo, Jo Berry (“Onanay”), and AiAi delas Alas.
