Aga and Bea’s Movie ‘First Love’ Premieres on Cinema One

Destiny brings Aga Muhlach and Bea Alonzo together in their first-ever onscreen pair-up “First Love,” premiering on Cinema One’s primetime this Sunday (May 19).

The film follows the serendipitous encounter of calculated and reserved businessman Nick (Aga) and impulsive and optimistic photographer Ali (Bea) in Vancouver, Canada.

While Nick is seeking closure from past mistakes, Ali is in town because of a medical concern. Despite this, the latter continues to be hopeful and Nick is drawn to her light, positive attitude.

“First Love” a film helmed by Metro Manila Film Festival 2017’s best director Paul Soriano, also stars Albie Casiño, Edward Barber, and Sandy Andolong.

Sara de los Reyes of Metro.Style commended the pair’s tandem with director Paul. “Together, the trio re-interprets the universal tale of once-in-a-lifetime chances, reminding all that without urgency and courage, they pass us by, never to come again. Luckily for Bea (who plays the film’s vibrant leading lady Ali) and Aga (who is convincing as the more somber Nick), both take a leap of faith, allowing love to triumph,” wrote Sara.

Can love really test fate? Find out in “First Love,” airing on Cinema One’s Blockbuster Sunday this May 19 at 7pm. Cinema One is available on SKYcable Channel 56, SKYdirect Channel 19, Destiny Cable Analog 37 and Digital 56.
