ABS-CBN Corporation, the country’s leading multimedia and entertainment company, makes an impact in the legal landscape as its in-house legal team was named the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications In-House Team of the Year at the Asian Legal Business Philippine Law Awards held at Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

The Asian Legal Business (ALB) Philippine Law Awards “recognizes and rewards outstanding performance of private practitioners and in-house teams that have significantly contributed to the ever-evolving legal landscape of the country.”

The award was given based on ABS-CBN Legal’s outstanding contribution to ABS-CBN’s (1) seamless transformation from traditional to digital; (2) creation of the ABS-CBN Studio Experience (Studio XP), the country’s first state-of-the-art indoor theme park in TriNoma; (3) proactive compliance with the Data Privacy Act of the Philippines and with safeguarding customer rights to personal data; and (4) participation in corporate social responsibility activities.
