Brad Pitt Wins First Oscar of His Acting Career

Brad Pitt has just won his first Oscar in an acting category.

Pitt slammed GOP, Trump impeachment trial on his speech opening: “They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week.”

He thanked director Quentin Tarantino and co-star Leonardo DiCaprio: “I’ll ride on your coattails any day, man.” Then he went on to thank the rest of the cast and crew with special mention to the stunt coordinators and stuntmen.

He ended his speech dedicating his awards to his kids: “To all the wonderful people I’ve met along the way. To stand here now … ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,’ ain’t that the truth. This is for my kids, who color everything I do. I adore you.”

Pitt previously received a best picture Oscar as the producer of “12 Years a Slave.”
