Harry Potter won by posting the correct ISBN of Today’s the Day in our forums. However, no one was able to guess the correct price of “Today’s the Day.” It’s retail price in National Bookstores is P 170.00 per copy. So, i picked the two people with the nearest price. Neolexis‘ guess was P168.00 while Bakekang’s guess was P180.00, so each of them won a copy of the book.

Now for our new set of freebies. The first one is from Kuya Kevin. The title of the book is Basta Lovelife. The author of this book is Kuya Kevin himself. This book is filled with relationship advices in a “non-preachy” kind of way.

The Philippines has been a force to be reckoned with since it joined the “talent Olympics” last 2005. Our delegates have been winning major awards for three years in a row beginning with Jed Madela in 2005, the Cercado Sisters in 2006 and Reymond Sajor and Aria Clemente in 2007.

Jed and Aria will grace this year’s event to perform. Jed will also seat as one of the judges in the senior vocalists competition.

Last April 1, 2007, Pantene launched “Who are This Year’s Pantene Most Beautiful” contest to generate curiosity in who will be this year’s Pantene Most Beautiful women and the new Pantene Hair Fall Control shampoo. Short descriptions of these female celebrities were uploaded in the Pantene website. Participants were given the chance to guess the faces behind the silhouettes in order to win FREE salon-styled cuts by the country’s renowned hair experts.

On April 27, 2008, these shining women were revealed in The Buzz, followed by a press conference at the poolside of the Intercontinental Manila on April 28 where these celebrities shared their newest beauty discovery—the new Pantene Hair Fall Control shampoo. This year’s Pantene Most Beautiful women are Ruffa Gutierrez, Gretchen Barretto, Claudine Barretto and Judy Ann Santos. Pantene also launched the Pantene Council of Stylists, which comprises of the country’s most celebrated hair experts, to help women achieve the most beautiful hair.

‘DARE TO BE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL’ CONTEST

Following the success of Who are this Year’s Pantene Most Beautiful contest, Pantene will launch another contest this June titled “Dare to be the Most Beautiful.” The main idea is to allow participants to imitatethe trademark Pantene pose of the four featured celebrities, or create their own interpretations. The objective of this contest is to pique the curiosity of the people on who will be the Pantene Most Beautiful Women of 2009. First prize winner gets a Boracay Trip Package for four; second prize winners gets a Wakeboarding Package in Lago de Oro, Calatagan, Batangas for four; and third prize winner gets a Spa Package for four.

CONTEST MECHANICS

HOW TO JOIN: To join the promo, participant/s must register by filling in all required fields in order to qualify. The entry for this contest is free. Upload a group photo of 4 (all female & preferably with long & shiny hair), interpreting your version of Pantene’s Most Beautiful pose.

WHO CAN JOIN: The contest is open to all female residents of the Philippines ages 18 to 35. Entry is for free.

HOW TO SUBMIT: Participants may submit their entries by logging in their username and password. Log in to MY ACCOUNT and go to ACCOUNT SUMMARY below your profile. Upload your photos and type in your validated CAPTION and DESCRIPTION. Press SUBMIT GROUP and it’s done.

Each entry must be submitted by only one person from the group. If more than one submits the same photo, it will be considered as one entry. Procter & Gamble Phils. is not solely responsible for lost or damaged photos submitted via mail.

Winners are declared by Procter & Gamble and its representatives are final. Winners will be informed via text notifications, telephone call, registered mail and email indicated on the personal information submitted.

A notification letter with prize verification instructions including claiming of prizes will be sent to the declared winners through their registered e-mail address. Winners must reply via the same e-mail address by sending the verification release form within four (4) days of notification. If no response after four (4) days, a second notification will be sent and winners will be given an additional four (4) days to respond. If they are unable to be reached directly via phone, or reply through email, she will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected. Once they are contacted via phone, they will be given another four (4) days to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility certifying that they hold all the rights to the photo they have submitted.

If declared winner fails to submit required documentation within the designated period, his/her prize will be forfeited in favor of Procter and Gamble.

The prizes may be claimed at Yehey! Corporation. 38th Discovery Center, 25 ADB Ave., Ortigas Complex, Pasig City. Mondays to Fridays, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, any transportation fares, taxi fares, gas, parking, meals, etc. will be shouldered by the winner.

The winners must present the following to an authorized Yehey! Corporation representative when claiming prize:

1. One (1) valid ID with complete real name, picture and correct address. Photocopies of any of the documents (i.e. birth certificate, marriage contract, SSS ID, driver’s license, school ID and/or passport).

2. Notice sent by registered mail.
