21-year-old Daryl Jett Celis from Antipolo Rizal is a rising heartthrob who can sing. He is currently one of the Top 24 semi-finalists of Pinoy Idol. Ogie Alcasid describes him as the one who is blessed with everything, and that he’s got appeal and a charmer. Will he be the first Pinoy Idol or GMA’s singing heartthrob?

Wu Chun (aka Wu Zun) is one of the hottest rising star in Asia; famous as a member of the Taiwanese boy-band Fahrenheit and for his various TV drama roles, including the popular “Hana Kimi†and “Romantic Princessâ€.
His real name is Goh Kiat Chun and he was born on October 10, 1980 in Brunei. Wu Chun is 181 cm. tall and works as an actor, model and singer.

Heartthrob Alert: Chris Tiu of Ateneo Blue Eagles

Chris Tiu is a student at Ateneo de Manila University. He’s taking up business courses while playing for the Ateneo Blue Eagles Men’s basketball team, and have managed to consistently be on the Dean’s List. He is also on his 5th year as SK Chairman in his barangay of residence in Makati.
Aside from being a varsity player and an SK chairman, Chris also spends his time managing a mini business selling rice meals in school. He enjoys travelling and love visiting new destinations - his favourite destinations so far are Salzburg and Vancouver. When he needs to relax, he plays golf and aslo the the piano when the mood strikes him. Some issues close to his heart are poverty alleviation, advancing better standards of living in the Philippines, and encouraging better standards of education in the country.

Miguel Escueta is the newest heartthrob to hit the music scene of Philippine entertainment. The singer-songwriter tried his luck in showbiz in the past but failed. Now he decided to pursue once more his once halted music career and everything seems to work out this time. His latest single “Isipin” is now climbing the charts of various radio stations and music channels. But of course, aside from his talent, Miguel’s charm and “it” factor is working for him. ABS-CBN or GMA should be considering to contract this artist by now because this guy has a lot of potential to be a big star in the future. Itaga niyo sa bato yan ha! Hehehe

Heartthrob Alert: Carlo Guevarra

Carlo Guevarra is one of the final 3 male models competing on Be Bench The Model Search and the early favorite to win among the guys (The grand finals was held at the Araneta Coliseum a few hours ago, who knows, he might have won?!). Last year, Carlo is a chubby young man (see before and after photo) and he was often called “tabatsoy” by his brother Paolo who works as a model. But look at him now.
Carlo and his brother Paolo auditioned for Be Bench the Model Search and the tables has been turned. A now fit and lean Carlo has made it as one of the top 6 male finalists (now top 3!) beating out Paolo who bade goodbye during the first round (top 30) of eliminations in the said competition.
“Lagi na lang niya akong tinatawag na tabatsoy, ngayon ako ang nakapasok at siya naman ang hindi. Nakarma ata,” said Carlo in one of the episode of Be Bench. And Carlo is now vying for the title together with fellow models Ron and John.

Heartthrob Alert: Sam Concepcion

Rising teen heartthrob Sam Concepcion is the grand prize winner of ABS-CBN’s reality talent search Little Big Star. Prior to joining the contest, he appeared in a tv commercial. He is also the winner of Nickelodeon Pinoy Wannabe award in 2006 beating senior heartthrob Sam Milby. He played the role of “Boy Bawang” in ABS-CBN’s fantaserye Super Inggo. He also played the role of Zac Efron in the local theater adaptation of High School Musical. He played the young Piolo Pascual in the soap Walang Kapalit. Last month, his first album was launched on ASAP. His first single “Even If” is now climbing the charts. And just recently, Sam was chosen as the Department of Education’s Youth Role Model and Spokesperson.
These are all of the achievements of this 14 year-old heartthrob…so far.

Oh Ji Ho is a Korean actor/model and star of the upcoming asianovela on GMA 7 “Couple or Trouble“. Born on April 14, 1976, this 6 ft. tall heartthrob has already won Best Supporting Actor in 2004 KBS Drama Awards. His hobbies include jet surfing, waterskiing, swimming, music, Tae Kwon Do, movies, and basketball.
