Gus Abelgas will unveil the schemes of the rape-murder of ‘April’ in Pila, Laguna this Friday (May 18) in “SOCO: Scene of the Crime Operatives” on ABS-CBN.
‘April,’ together with cousin ‘Marie,’ were on their way home when a man knocked them down from behind who was later identified as their neighbor. The suspect then started undressing ‘April,’ while ‘Marie’ pretended to lie dead and helplessly watched him repeatedly raping her cousin. After the suspect left, the ladies were still able to seek help from their neighbors but ‘April’ would later expire.
Meanwhile, witness how a woman survived the assault of her live-in partner who gunned her down when she wanted to break up with him next Friday (May 25).

The decades-old armed conflict between the government and the rebellious group New People’s Army (NPA) has caught innocent indigenous peoples like the Lumad group in the crossfire of the war.
This Thursday (May 17) in “Krusada,” Karen will check on the Lumad communities in Ba-Oy Dam, Surigao del Sur in Mindanao that have lived through years of terror, fearing for their lives and trying to escape the dangers of warfare.
“The innocent are almost always the victims of any war, not the opposing parties,” said Karen.
Because of this, the Lumads are often forced to leave their homes and livelihood, while children stop schooling. How long will they keep on evacuating?
