McDonald’s Curly Fries is Making a Comeback
August 8, 2012 by cd · Comments Off
McDonald’s Curly Fries is making a comeback!
McDonald’s recently announced that it is bringing back its seasonal curly fries known as the “twister fries” in the Philippines or potato curls that are spiced and deep-fried.
The in-demand curly fries made its way to global websites like the International Business Times noting that the curly fries are very popular in the Southeast Asian archipelage and that McDonald’s in other countries might follow suit.
However, McDonald’s Philippines on its official Facebook page, said that the curly fries known as “Twister Fries” will be available only for 3 weeks beginning August 1, 2012.
Loyal customers expressed their clamor on the social networking site to make the seasonal fries be part of the regular menu. While McDonald’s Philippines values the customers’ suggestion, making it a part of the regular menu might be improbable for now because the fastfood chain only sells twister fries for a limited run each year to increase the product’s value.
Perhaps they can extend the duration.
