Jaclyn Victor, the first Malaysian Idol sang “For Once In My Life” in the performance night of Asian Idol. She is one of the strongest competitors of our very own Mau Marcelo.
Malaysian Idol judge Paul Moss said Jaclyn’s strength is to create moments of magic but her performance tonight wasn’t quite the magic needed to capture the hearts of the people across the region. Philippine judge Pilita Corrales said Jaclyn has a great voice coming from her very small body and that she definitely has a chance to become the first Asian Idol.

On the first round of Asian Idol, our very own Mau Marcelo (the first Philippine Idol) performed a George Canseco classic “Ako ang Nagwagi, Ako ang Nasawi” which was originally sung by Dulce.
She received a standing ovation from the Indian judge who told her that her voice could melt a thousand hearts.
