Balls Broadcasts ICTSI Philippine Open and Omega Dubai Desert Classic

The ICTSI Philippine Open, Asia’s oldest National Open that has welcomed many worthy champions such as Frankie Miñoza, Angelo Que, Artemio Murakami, Elmer Salvador, Wang Ter-Chang and defending champion Berry Henson, tees off today at the Wack-Wack Golf and Country Club.

Balls (SkyCable Channel 34), home of the world’s biggest sporting events, proudly airs live the historic 96th edition of the tourney on February 9 and 10, 1p.m. to 5p.m., and February 11 and 12, 12p.m. to 4p.m. Replays will commence on Studio 23 on February 10 to 13, 12:30a.m.

Balls and Studio 23 are among the global television platforms to air the ICTSI Philippine Open. For the first time, the tourney will be aired in over 200 countries.

Que was the last Filipino to rule the Open in 2008. The year before Que’s win, it was Miñoza who claimed the victory for two years in a row.

Besides Miñoza and Que, other Filipino golf veterans such as Mars Pucay, Antonio Lascuña and teenager Miguel Tabuena will also play in the tournament.

Meanwhile, the Dubai Desert Classic, one of the European Tour’s premier events will also be aired on Balls on February 9 and 10, 9p.m. and February 10 and 11, 8p.m.

Asian Tour no. 1 Juvic Pagunsan, who took home the top plum in The Country Club recently, will tee off at the Omega Dubai Dessert, missing the ICTSI Philippine Open. Alvaro Quiros, on the other hand, will be aiming to become the first back-to-back winner of the prestigious event.

James Yap and Kris Aquino have already divided their properties one year ago prior to the court’s nullification of their marriage this week according to a report by Boy Abunda on Bandila Thursday evening.

Anthony and Julius Investigate Bribery Cases in Calamba and Quiapo

Anthony Taberna and Julius Babao investigate two separate cases of bribery in a government office and in a parking area this Monday (Feb 6) in “XXX.”

A tipster revealed that aside from the legitimate encoder who evaluates official transactions done in the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Calamba, Laguna, a security guard was also seen evaluating transactions on his own computer. On top of this, there were also employees who are allegedly asking bribe from helpless clients.

In Quiapo, Manila, on the other hand, collectors who introduce themselves as staff of the barangay, double the parking fee from P20, as reflected in the receipt, to P40.

Meanwhile, a mother asks help from Pinky Webb to reclaim her child allegedly kidnapped by her live-in partner. After she gave birth to the baby, her live-in partner took the child to the doctor for a check up but never returned. She was surprised to learn one day that the child she gave birth to is no longer hers and now belongs to a different woman.
