As part of the “Big Reveal”, Toni Gonzaga disclosed the current standing of the official PBB poll 4 days before the Big Night.

Tuesday night is the BIG REVEAL night on Pinoy Big Brother Double UP. It was the night that Big Brother revealed to the housemates that all of them will advance to the Big Night. But the shocking revelation is that the current standing of the official PBB text poll was revealed 4 nights before the Big Night.

Contrary to expectations, Melisa is NOT leading in the text votes. In fact, she’s running third from leader Paul Jake and second placer, Jason. Paul Jake garnered 31.66 percent of the total text votes. Jason got 23.21% while Melai received 20.93 percent. Running 4th is Johan with 13.39% while trailing in last place is Tibo with 10.82 percent.

Get Entangled in Romantic Love on ‘Full House’

It’s going to be a crazy week on Full House as pretend couple Justin (Richard Gutierrez) and Jessie’s (Heart Evangelista) intimate secrets come out in the open.

As part of their contract, their number-one agreement is to maintain the privacy of their fake marriage. But no thanks to their two nosy friends, Donald (Rainier Castillo) and Lisette (Sheena Halili), keeping their “little secret” private turns out to be harder than they imagined.

First, Luigi (Patrick Garcia) finds out about the contract from Lisette, who blurts it out by mistake, thinking that she’s talking to Jessie. And then, of all people, Elaine (Isabel Oli) finds out about it, too, after eavesdropping on Donald and Lisette’s conversation. Elaine rushes to Justin and Jessie’s house and confronts the latter.

To make matters worse, their feelings have gotten in the way this time. Jessie, who has openly declared her love for Justin, accepts Luigi’s offer to give him a chance. They will be spending more time together after a production company agrees to turn Jessie’s novel into a full-length movie.

Justin, on the other hand, gets jealous but is still in denial about his true feelings for Jessie.

So, the big question is, can they sort out their feelings before it’s too late?

Myx Announces this Year’s Music Awards Nominees

Voting is officially on for the 2010 Myx Music Awards.

The Myx Music Awards (MMA) 2010 Nomination Night finally announced this year’s nominees for over 19 categories including the most coveted awards Favorite Artist, Favorite Group and Favorite Music Video. Not only were the MMA nominees announced, the night also featured rocking performances by some of the country’s top music artists. The event was hosted by homegrown Myx VJs Robi, Bianca, Chino, Janine and Nel.

Taking home last year’s MMA Favorite Group Award, 6cyclemind opened the night with their hit song “Kasalanan” followed by the up-and-coming rock band and Favorite New Artist nominee Letter Day Story, both bands featuring popular rapper Gloc-9 who is nominated for a whopping six categories. Hale also brought the house down with their hit song “Bahay Kubo” nominated as Favorite Music Video. Hale lead vocalist Champ hopes to win an MMA trophy this year. If they get lucky, this will be their first from MMA. He proudly talked about their band’s experience while shooting their music video with actress Heart Evangelista, who is also nominated for Favorite Guest Appearance in a Music Video.

Former Myx Celebrity VJ Sponge Cola was welcomed by thunderous shouts and applause which increased in volume when they performed their catchy song “Di na Mababawi.” Lead vocalist Yael, shared, “We’re so lucky that we were able to work with Mr. Gary V. in the song ‘Ayt.” and to the delight of their fans segued with some dance moves which Mr. Pure Energy taught him.

R&B Princess Kyla, one of last year’s performers at the MMA night treated the audience with her inspiring love song. She shared “I feel great and happy to be nominated. It’s hard enough for your songs to be played on-air, but to be nominated, it’s such a privilege.”

Chicosci ended the event on a rocking mode with the song “Diamond Shotgun”. The band is also nominated in six categories including Favorite Rock Video and Favorite Song.

Solo artist Rico Blanco is also tied with Gloc-9 and Chicosci with six nominations while Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo is tied with Kyla, both with five nominations.

Agua Bendita Debuts at No. 4 in Mega Manila and No. 1 Nationwide

Four new programs premiered last Monday, 3 from GMA (Diz is it, Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak, First Time) and 1 from ABS-CBN (Agua Bendita).

The fantaserye Agua Bendita starring Andi Eigenmann debuted nationwide at no. 1 position with 37.7 percent. It also topped the Urban Luzon chart with 43.2%, Vizayas chart with 50.9% and the Mindanao chart with 47.4 percent. It’s quite an achievement as the fantaserye’s lead star is anewcomer.

In Mega Manila, Agua Bendita placed 4th overall. Another series, First Time, also premiered in the primetime race last Monday with newcomers as its lead stars. It registered a pilot episode of 29.8% and place 9th overall in the TNS rankings.

Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak, on the other hand, premiered last Monday afternoon with 13.5% nationwide. It’s pilot episode placed 6th among daytime shows. Diz is It, on the other hand, missed the Top 10 daytime programs nationwide because it was beaten heavily by its rival program Showtime which garnered 18.6 percent.

Nina Shines in ASAP XV’s Concert Series

The first female diamond artist in the country is part of ASAP XV’s Concert Series.

Glittering with grace… beaming with talent… Soul Siren Nina, goes center stage as she invades Music Museum on March 5 and 6, 2009.

Nina has been a part of ASAP’s league of stars for more than five years now. She was able to prove her singing prowess through her well-applauded performances and highly praised song numbers. She was the first female recipient of a diamond record award in the country for the outstanding sales of her third album, “Nina Live!”.

An elite member of the ASAP Sessionistas, Nina has indeed a thriving career ahead of her. Even when she first immersed herself in the recording scene, her debut singles gained a lot of airplay on the radio as each of her song quickly became chart-topping hits. Thus, numerous awards and recognitions came pouring in for the remarkable singer.

Last year, she was invited to guest in the international variety chat show entitled “Asia Uncut.” Her guesting made her the second Filipina to have ever set foot on the said popular Star World television program (the first was Lea Salonga.)

The country’s Multimedia Star and platinum recording artist, Toni Gonzaga, sings her heart out in “Love is… Toni Gonzaga,” the second offering of ASAP XV concert series which will happen on February 26 and 27 at the Music Museum.

Toni has conquered almost all forms of mainstream entertainment. Charice to Launch Pyramid Club Remix Featuring Iyaz on Feb. 23

The promotional dance version of Charice’s highly-anticipated international debut single “Pyramid” will be available at iTunes on February 23, 2010.

The anticipation for the release of Charice’s international single “Pyramid” is killing her fans all over the world, so to speak. As the YouTube singing sensation turns 18 this May, her still untitled international debut album will also be released. But of course, the single should come out first. And to herald the release of “Pyramid” featuring Sean Kingston (Beautiful Girls, Fire Burning on the Dance Floor), it’s club remix version featuring Iyaz (Replay) will be available at iTunes on February 23, 2010.

Five Housemates Battle to Become Big Winner of ‘PBB Double UP’

The cast is complete for the “Big Date at the Big Night” of “Pinoy Big Brother Double Up.”

Housemates Melai, Jason, Tibo, Paul Jake and Johan will compete for the title of Big Winner on Saturday (Feb 13) after saying goodbye to Mariel, this season’s final evictee, last Saturday (Feb 6).

On their last week inside the Pinoy Big Brother house, the Big Five will undergo a series of Big Events that will help viewers determine the rightful Big Winner of this season. Last Sunday’s (Feb 7) “The Big Debate,” gave a hint of what to expect this week.

During the debate, moderator Korina Sanchez threw hard questions to the housemates like “Who has not been true to himself inside the house” and “who does not need to win in PBB.”

All five bravely answered these questions even if it meant possibly hurting other housemates’ feelings.

On Monday (Feb 8), we also saw THE BIG DIVIDE, wherein the housemates were separated again in two houses. Tuesday’s (Feb 9) THE BIG REVEAL, meanwhile, will feature the shocking revelation of Big Brother to the housemates that all of them will advance to the Big Night.

On Wednesday (Feb 10), the loved ones of the housemates will enter the house for THE BIG KAPAMILYA CHALLENGE. Here, each housemate will compete for a prize alongside their loved one.

Fans of the program should not miss THE BIG HIGH FIVE CONCERT on Thursday (Feb 11), where the Big Five will perform hits and requests from loyal PBB viewers. Finally on Friday (Feb 12), the housemates will have to face the biggest issues in their lives in and out of the house with Boy Abunda.
