Bernadette Sembrano Weds Emilio Aguinaldo IV
June 23, 2008 by cd · 6 Comments
TV Patrol weekend edition anchor Bernadette Sembrano admits that her marriage to Emilio “Orange” Aguinaldo IV, descendant of one of the country’s most beloved heroes, is worth the wait. “It’s everything I hoped for and more… much more,” enthused the 32-year-old broadcast journalist.
Bernadette and Orange exchanged vows last June 12 in Nasugbu, Batangas. The Philippines’ Day of Independence has become quite significant day for the couple since the event paved the way for their paths to cross. Bernadette covered the Independence Day celebration in Kawit, Cavite two years ago and this was where she met Orange. The following year, she was again assigned to report on the event and once again bumped into Orange, who was then elected as Kawit’s vice-mayor. Their love story began and the couple feels that Emilio Aguinaldo, the first President of the Philippines, has blessed them in every way.
With a Filipiniana motif, the wedding was attended by the couple’s family and close friends. After the reception at Sonya’s Garden in Cavite, the newly-wed couple then went straight to San Francisco California to celebrate their honeymoon.
