After giving life to the TV version of Pepeng Agimat more than a year ago, Jolo is back to reprise once again a character that his grandfather, Ramon Revilla Sr., portrayed during the 80′s. “This will be the second time that I will be giving life to a classic character originally played by my grandfather. Siyempre the pressure is there, but full support naman ang family ko sa akin. Ayoko naman sila pahiyain siyempre po,” Jolo shared.

As Jolo sets on with his new adventure as Kapitan Inggo, he will be supported by a list of veteran and highly-admired stars: Gary Estrada, Jomari Yllana, Ana Capri, Liza Lorena, Timmy Cruz, Jay-R Siaboc, Maurice Mabutas of Star Circle Quest and Rima Ostwani as Jolo’s leading lady.

Kapitan Inggo is originally a 1984 film starred by Ramon Revilla Sr. The story revolves around Kapitan Inggo and how his amulet helps him become invincible.

Groomed to be one of the next premier leading men of the local entertainment scene, Jason Abalos is set to face his first lead title role, as he breathes life to a Pinoy classic character, Bianong Bulag, the first series of the new season of Agimat: Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla starting January 24, Monday after Showtime on ABS-CBN.

From his dramatic role in ‘Alyna,’ Jason continuously proves that he deserves a niche in the showbiz arena. Jason even underwent martial arts training as preparation for his role.

“Malaking karangalan kasi hindi naman lahat nabibigyan ng pagkakataon. Masaya rin ako dahil nabibigyang-buhay namin yung mga pelikula niya (Ramon Revilla Sr.) dati,” Jason expressed after learning that he has been given the role of Bianong Bulag.

In an interview, Jason commended Jessie Mendiola, his love interest in the series, “Masarap siya katrabaho kasi hindi mabigat kaeksena. Gusto niyang matuto, masaya siya sa ginagawa niya at focus siya”.

Under the direction of Dondon Santos, the story of Bianong Bulag revolves around the adventures of two brothers, portrayed by Jason and Joem Bascon, who were both given a half part of an amulet. The conflict sinks in as Jason and Joem realize their amulet’s special powers which were handed to them by their trainor.

Dubbed as “Ikalawang Pagsabak”, the tradition of extra ordinary Pinoy urban powers will return in the small screen via ABS-CBN’s “Agimat: Ang mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla”.

In the newest Agimat offering, Jake unveils the action star in him. This time he will play the role of a man-turned-superhero. On the other hand, Nagsimula Sa Puso aired its final episode last January 22, 2010. The Maja Salvador soap opera registered 22.9% to place 2nd to Wowowee in the daytime race. It was the 10th most-watched program of the day (overall).

The actor shared during the last taping day of his ‘Agimat’ series, that he has fallen in-love not only with the said project but also with ‘Parkour’, a unique sport which involves extreme climbing and jumping.

“Sobrang mami-miss ko ang Agimat team, lalo na ang mga parkour trainors ko. This sport has really challenged my endurance. I have realized na sobrang enjoy siyang gawin. If ever I’ll be given a chance to train again, I’ll grab the opportunity.”

Gerald has truly learned the art of striving from one steep place to another. But that skill doesn’t stop there. The PBB sensation has also reached a cliff that is near the summit of his career when he recently won the prestigious German Moreno Lifetime Achievement Award in FAMAS for his love tandem with Kim Chiu.

The 20-year old celebrity wasn’t able to personally receive the award due to a conflict in schedule. However, he said that he’s proud and grateful for the honor that was vested upon his love team.
