Independent movie “Ploning” starring Judy Ann Santos has earned P 11,874,848.08 which is good enough for a film with a limited release. Therefore comparing it with the Viva Films comedy which was shown nationwide, Ploning did very well.

When Love Begins, the co-production of Viva Films with Star Cinema on the other hand, has now grossed P 81,212,617.20 on its 3rd week. The Aga Muhlach-Anne Curtis starrer is now the 2nd top-grossing movie of the year next to My Bestfriend’s Girlfriend of GMA Films and Regal Films.

The highly anticipated action comedy is based from the story and screenplay of the award-winning Mel Mendoza del Rosario.

It tells the story of veterinarian Baby Holmes (Ai Ai) who bumps into a simple fireman’s son named Boy (Robin). The two characters are both unlucky in love only to find themselves as the perfect match for each other.

One funny scene from the movie is when Ai Ai saved the life of Robin’s son. The grateful Robin grants Ai Ai one “doable” wish. But Ai Ai’s request is to have a child with Robin to complete her womanhood. Will Robin keep his promise? We will find out in the movie, including the torrid “kissing scene” between Robin and Ai Ai.
