Apparently, Kylie Padilla has been trying to end her relationship with the Kapuso hunk, according to a report by Manila Bulletin.

The “Blusang Itim” star has been given an important advice by his superstar dad to concentrate on her career and let go of whatever is blossoming between her and Aljur.

Following his dad’s advice, Kylie reportedly broke up with Aljur after she saw an exchange of text message between the Kapuso hunk and his ex-girlfriend Rich Asuncion.

But this stuff is just a normal thing for young lovebirds because after a few days, Kylie followed her heart again and talked to Aljur. Eventually, the two have reconciled and patched things up. Now they’re back with each other’s arms.

In an interview by Philippine Entertainment Portal during the 92nd anniversary of the movie industry held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines last June 22, Aljur Abrenica revealed that he is currently dating Kylie Padilla and no one else.

“Sa ngayon po kami ni Kylie, exclusively dating. Wala na po akong ibang nakakasama kundi siya lang,” the young actor said.

He also mentioned that Kylie is his current inspiration and hoping that the Blusang Itim lead star would get inspired by him in the future.

“Sobrang inspired ako sa kanya. Sana inspired din siya sa akin. Ngayon kasi, wala namang problema, magaan naman lahat. Kumbaga, ako ngayon ini-enjoy na lang yung pagkakataon,” he added.

He also made it clear that Kylie’s father, Robin Padilla, knows that he and Kylie are going out from time to time.

Aljur has currently no project in GMA-7 since his teleserye “Machete” ended last March 18. However, he can be seen in the weekly musical variety show “Party Pilipinas” every Sunday.

Meanwhile, He is one of the lead stars in the upcoming Regal Films movie “Temptation Island” together with other Kapuso stars like Marian Rivera, Solenn Heusaff, Heart Evangelista, Lovi Poe, Rufa Mae Quinto, John Lapus and Mikael Daez. The Chris Martinez-helmed movie is set to open in theaters on July 6, 2011.

Supporting Ritz in this momentous event are her TV5 and Talent5 families represented by Perci Intalan and Audie Gemora, respectively.

“I am very proud of Ritz,” says Audie. “This lady (Ritz) will go a long, long way pa. This award is very inspiring not just to Ritz, but also to the whole Talent5 and TV5 family.”

Ritz bested talents from rival networks by topping the online poll in the category.

With her pretty face and refreshing demeanor, the young TV actress and commercial model easily grabbed the attention of people present, including Aljur Abrenica, who became Ritz’ instant companion for the evening.

Meanwhile, Christian Bautista won the Coolest Male Singer Award.

Christian, who is now in Singapore taping for The Kitchen Musical, said this in his acceptance video, “even though I am here (in Singapore), I can feel your love. Thank you very much.”

Fellow STAGES talents Karylle and Sam Concepcion were also nominated for the Coolest Female Singer and Awesome Young Actor categories, respectively. Sam also closed the event on a high note when he performed Chris Brown’s Yeah 3x.

Having journeyed stardom together, from Starstruck to having a title role each, Aljur and Kris proved their team-up and friendship to be strong and perennial.

Last seen in the primetime soap, Machete, the Al-Kris love team comes back in a horror comedy series inspired by Asian horror films like The Ring, The Grudge and The Eye.

In the story, Aljur stars as a “bad boy” named Brix. He is a “maginoo-pero-medyo-bastos” type who courts a sweet girl played by Kris. Opposite him, Kris’ character, Nancy is very lady-like and can even be described as very “manang.” She secretly likes Brix but plays hard-to-get to the guy.

The story begins when Brix, Nancy and their friends win a weekend treat in a resort from a radio text promo. Unknown to them, their supposedly fun summer adventure could turn ugly and even scary as they encounter a vengeful ghost of a woman named Sad-ako.

Amid the scary and crazy situations the group runs into, their friendship is put to the test as they discover that Sad-ako haunts them because of Brix.

Will the opposites, Brix and Nancy, end up with each other? Or will Sad-ako’s revenge and claims of having a past with him dissolve the attraction Nancy has for the bad boy? Will the two and their friends get out of the haunted resort alive?

Joining Aljur and Kris in this series directed by Lore Reyes are Sam Pinto as Tricia, Nancy’s friend and love rival; Sef Cadayona as Vanessa, the uniquely “gifted” BFF of Nancy and Tricia; Gerould Aceron as Mac, Brix’s younger brother; DJ Rico Robles as Papa King, the mysterious DJ; Gene Padilla as Mang Aga, driver of the barkada; Benjie Paras as Dr. Morgan; and Moymoy Palaboy in their surprise roles.
