“Segunda Mano” is an upcoming horror movie jointly produced by
Star Cinema, Agostodos and MJM Productions as an entry to the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF).

The film stars the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, Kapuso top leading man Dingdong Dantes, and versatile actress Angelica Panganiban.

Also starring in the movie are Helen Gamboa,Jhong Hilario, Bangs Garcia, Angel Jacob, Ian Veneracion, and Rico Blanco.

“Segunda Mano” opens in theaters nationwide on December 25, Christmas day.

The three stars recently inked a new contract with the Kapamilya network. Present during the signing were ABS-CBN Channel 2 head Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN president and COO Charo Santos-Concio, and Star Magic head Johnny Manahan.

“Muling Buksan ang Puso”, an upcoming teleserye on ABS-CBN, will star Gretchen Barretto, Angelica Panganiban and KC Concepcion.

The said teleserye had a working title “Pinulot Ka Lang sa Lupa” to “Alta” until it was changed to “Muling Buksan ang Puso.”

According to reports, the leading men in the drama series are Sam Milby, Zanjoe Marudo, Luis Manzano and possibly Derek Ramsay, although it wasn’t finalized yet.

Directed by Ruel Naval (Magkaribal), “Muling Buksan ang Puso” is definitely one huge teleserye that will hit Philippine primetime soon!

The ever and feisty Angelica Panganiban throws a bomb over another Kapamilya actress, many are suspecting to be Erich Gonzales, who is currently being linked to his boyfriend Derek Ramsay.

“Ang hirap talaga maging maganda at saka maging sobrang hot kasi nga talagang gusto nila agawin lahat ang nasa ‘yo. Ang yummy pa ng boyfriend ko ‘di ba, package deal, lahat na nasa kanya. So gano’n talaga. Minsan may gustong mang-agaw sa boyfriend mo,” Angelica said in an interview aired on “TV Patrol” last May 25.

Angelica didn’t mention Erich’s name but her next statement clearly refers to Erich.

“Si Derek kapagka in-invite lang dito akala pakakasalan na, ‘di ba? ‘Kala siguro sila talaga ‘yung meant to be. Ang pangit naman ng ganoong mentality. Sana isipin nila na me girlfriend ‘yung tao,” she said.

According to source, Derek invited Erich last year to his home after their taping for “Magkaribal” because the hunk actor’s mom is a fan of Erich so she wanted to see her. Derek also introduced Erich to some of his friends.

Apparently, Angelica twitted her opinion that Azkals’ Phil Younghusband should concentrate on playing football instead of entering showbiz. It’s actually Angelica’s reaction to the news about Phil Younghusband starring in an indie film.

This prompted some Azkals’ fans to react negatively against Angelica’s tweet including a fan Baby Morales (@anilmorales). They had an exchange of derogatory remarks with one another that compelled the latter to delete her Twitter account.

Younghusband, on the other hand, clarified that his role in the upcoming movie is his way to promote football.

“I hope after the Karavan, I can stay longer in Davao. Pero kailangan magtrabaho ulit agad. Anyway, I make the most out of my stay there. I’d like to know more about Davao,” said John.

Derived from from Davaoeño word “Madayaw,” which means good and beautiful, the artistic festivity is a thanksgiving for the abundant wonders of nature.
