GMA 7 brought home one trophy courtesy of “The Reporter’s Notebook” from the 12th Asian Television Awards which was held November 28, 2007 in Singapore. The Reporter’s Notebook beat a Discovery special from Singapore and other programs from Korea, Taiwan and Thailand in the Best Current Affairs program category.
In 2005, GMA 7 won the highest recognition in Asian Television Awards – the coveted Terrestial Channel of the Year, the first in Philippine broadcasting industry.
