Michael Trevino, if you’ve been living under a rock, is the werewolf named Tyler Lockwood in the hit CW series “The Vampire Diaries.” The 26-year-old hunk actor was born and grew up in Montebello, California. In an interview by Ricky Lo of The Philippine Star, Trevino revealed that the Bench endorsement is actually a first in his career.

“Yeah. It’s my first time to be photographed in an underwear,” Michael said about the shoot. “It made me feel like I was damn-near completely naked”

“But I’m glad that it’s over and now I can have lunch. I was on a strict diet before this shoot, and now I can eat all the junk food that I want,” Michael joked.

“Actually, it’s the first time that I am ever endorsing any product. This whole procedure…you know, including this pictorial…is very new to me but it’s very interesting, it’s an experience that I’m welcoming,” he said.

So weeks from now, we’ll gonna see Michael Trevino wearing Bench Body underwear on print ads, posters, banners and perhaps on giant billboards if the “censors” would allow it.

Filipino-Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Peter Gene Hernandez, popularly known as Bruno Mars, will appear on the upcoming series of Sesame Street.

The singer/songwriter will join the elite roster of stars who guested on the iconic children’s show which includes Katy Perry, U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama, Natalie Portman, Cameron Diaz, Hugh Jackman and Adam Sandler.

Other stars who are booked to grace Sesame Street’s upcoming new season include Nicole Kidman, Seth Rogen and George Lopez.

Meanwhile, The 25-year-old musician has landed an endorsement deal with local brand Bench. The half-Filipino popstar has finished the photoshoot for the apparel’s upcoming campaign at a studio in West Hollywood, L.A., last July 29. Mars will be fully seen on billboards soon replacing the “Bench on Mars” teaser ads which are currently seen right now:

If Kamiseta has Katie Holmes and Penshoppe has Ed Westwick, Bench will not be left behind. The popular apparel brand has inked a deal with Grammy Award-winning artist Bruno Mars!

The online poster above is still the teaser ad that has been circulating on the internet. But if you happen to come across EDSA corner Magallanes, you will see Bench’s newest billboard featuring the half-Pinoy half-Puerto Rican pop star Bruno Mars.

So the Taylor-Lautner-as-new-Bench-endorser rumor is officially dead. Bench got Mars and what’s nice about the idea is that the “Just the Way You Are” singer has Filipino blood – the perfect representation of a Filipino global brand.

Mandaluyong City Mayor Benhur Abalos said Bench have agreed to take down the said sexy billboard upon his request.

“Hindi ko pinapaalis, I am just requesting advertisers to have it removed,” Abalos told abs-cbnNEWS.com.

Abalos reasoned out that the billboard was inappropriate, especially since it was placed prominently along a busy area.

“That road is in the center of Metro Manila, ang daming dumadaan,” Abalos said, adding that he’s specially concerned about the children who can see the ad.

The mayor clarified that this act is not a moral issue.

“Baka sabihin nila nagpapaka-moralista ako. I’m not very conservative,” he said.

The mayor’s next target is another Bench Body billboard located along EDSA Guadalupe, which features the Azkals’ team captain, Aly Borromeo in his underwear (CLICK HERE TO SEE THE AD).

Too bad they cannot complete the Philippine Azkals to be Bench Body endorsers just like the Philippine Volcanoes because for one, Phil and James Younghusband are already endorsers of rival brand, Collezione.

If you’ve been living under a rock, Philippine Azkals is the name of the Philippine National Football Team while Philippine Volcanoes is for the Philippine National Rugby Team.

These two teams are currently putting the country on the map of football and rugby, the two sports being neglected by the Philippines for so many years.

We’ve seen the images of Rafael Rosell, Dingdong Dantes and Jake Cuenca, among others, wearing only undies and magnified a thousand times via Bench Body billboards situated in prominent parts of the Metro.

If my memory serves me right, the first male celebrities highlighted by Bench to endorse their undies are Richard Gutierrez and Jomari Yllana, both moreno hunks. I guess Bench is coming back to the “moreno” figure as the newest endorser of their undies for men is the tall, dark and handsome Borgy Manotoc.

In case you don’t know, Borgy is already taken. He is the BF of the country’s super gorgeous female model Georgina Wilson, who is also a Bench endorser herself.
