“Tonight’s like graduation for us before we take a break,” Stacie Ann Ferguson, a.k.a. Fergie, said before the group perform their hit song “I Gotta Feeling” in an extended encore.

Black Eyed Peas’ Filipino member Allan Pineda, a.k.a. apl.de.ap, said they are not splitting up as a group because their friendship can never be broken.

“We always have a cycle where we take a break and pursue our individual projects,” Pineda explained in an earlier interview.

Fergie, meanwhile, has been reported to be eager to start a family with her husband, actor Josh Duhamel.

For these reasons, it will take time before the group make a new record and grace the music scene together again.

They hugged each other during their last song last night.

They became one of only 11 artists to have simultaneously held the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 and won numerous awards including 8 American Music Awards, 6 Grammy Awards and 3 World Music Awards.

The music video for “Don’t Stop the Party”, the Black Eyed Peas’ new single from the album “The Beginning” has been released. But according to reports, “Do Not Stop the Music” is the choice single for Europe and in Northern America, the song “Someday” will be the single instead.

Taboo even included a twitpic of her and Charice taken inside the studio.

Charice‘s 2nd international album is set to be released on the fourth quarter of this year.

Meanwhile, the singing sensation recorded an original song titled “As Long As You’re There” which is included in the upcoming album “Glee: The Music, Vol.6.” The album comes out on May 23. It’s not yet sure though if Charice will perform the song in an upcoming episode of the musical tv series.

US singer Kesha and French choreographer Kamel Ouali declared the group Black Eyed Peas as Best International Group. They were later embarrassed when no one came up to accept the award.

Ouali then apologized that he has declared the wrong group as he had mixed up looking at the nominees and the actual winner. He received boos from the crowd after explaining what happened.

Tokio Hotel from Germany actually won the award.

The Black Eyed Peas were present at the awards night to perform their hit song I Gotta Feeling at the opening of the ceremonies. At least they did not leave empty-handed as they won later the Best International Song award for the said song.

Last year, another mistake happened when Katy Perry accepted the Best International Song award. The actual winner was Rihanna.

Revealed as the first pack of nominees, in the Song of the Year category over the weekend, the three will face off against Kings of Leon (“Use Somebody”) and two songs from David Guetta.

Guetta, first seen in the Miss Universe pageant last summer, is nominated for “When Loves Takes Over” feat. Kelly Rowland and the Akon assisted “Sexy Chick”.
