It’s a hometown victory at the 61st Cannes Film Festival as French director, Laurent Cantet won the Palme d’Or for best film for his movie The Class (Entre Les Murs) about teacher-pupil relationships in a multicultural school classroom in France. Philippine Entry “Serbis” went home empty-handed.
