One of which was the recognition that he received from the National Youth Commission (Malacanang Palace) as the Asean Youth Awardee in the field of Entertainment and the Arts.

Producer, arranger, songwriter Tat Tong is responsible for more than 20 Top 10 and five #1-charting hits in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and mainland China.

His songwriting, arranging and mixing work has gone platinum and won accolades from artists and critics, including the Top 20 Songs of 2011 and the Top 10 Albums of April 2011 in the Global Chinese Music Awards. It was well attended by the press and media from TV, Radio, Print and Online. This is also a part of acknowledging Christian Bautista‘s successful bid in Asia, the very first international album which was released via Universal Records.

In this album Christian did his collaborations with music producers and artists from the United States, Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia.

During the event his international producer Tat Tong came all the way from Singapore, and also present was Baby M, a Korean singer he met during his Asian tour. Tat is the composer of the anthemic All That’s Left.

Also launched was the music video of All That’s Left, Christian first time to work with Cosplay Goddess Alodia Gosiengfiao. He got paired to a lot of girls already so it was hard to choose a partner for him in this video until they got Alodia.

“I feel very happy working with Alodia because she’s really famous in the Anime world. Game na game siya, alas tres ng madaling araw sa Intramuros sumasayaw kami. Perfect ang pagpili kay Alodia” he said during the interview session.

His Kitchen Musical Experience

While taping for The Kitchen Musical, Christian asked one of his co members if he knows a composer who has great songs fit for him until he finally met Tat Tong. And then they started conceptualizing for this project.

He also shared his wonderful experience during their tapings.

“Yung style po nila (The Kitchen Musical Management) ng work is very professional. Ang trabaho po namin nagsisimula 8 am at natatapos ng 8 pm. Mabait naman yung management kasi pinagpapahinga nila kami pag nakikitang pagod.Kaya thankful ako sa mga kasama ko na galing sa ibat ibang bansa. Marami po kaming natutunan sa bawat isa.” Christian narrates.

He really learned a lot specially dancing. Now after The Kitchen Musical, Christian started to dance as well.

Christian performed an awesome dance number during the presscon and it did impressed a lot of audience from the press and media.

It stars Karylle, as Sous Chef Maddie, and Christian Bautista, as Sous Chef Daniel together with other talents from different Asian countries. It also features other Filipino talents like Ikey Canoy, Thou Reyes, and Art Acuna.

Broadway star Stephen Rahman Hughes of Bombay Dreams is the other lead character in the story.

Christian further adds, “You will see me and Karylle in a very new light in this musical. It’s exciting.”

Also present during the Media Launch are Studio 23 Head March Ventosa, Universal Records General Manager Kathleen Dy-Go, and David Cosico, personal manager of Karylle.

The highly-successful media launch also paved the way for the announcement that Ben Silverman’s Electus is planning to bring the material to the United States.

Electus is the producer of the hit TV series Ugly Betty and The Office.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Silverman said, “We are pleased to add this compelling new series to our fast-growing slate of high concept, international programming as The Kitchen Musical has universal appeal that will resonate greatly with the global marketplace.”
