Is it the way it’s sung? Is it the beautiful composition by Julian Felipe? Is it the anticipation of Pacquiao’s bout that will bring honor to the country? Or is it the artist who interpreted the song?

One of the highlights in watching Manny Pacquiao‘s bouts is the singing of the Philippine national anthem. It’s one of the rare moments when we feel proud as Filipinos and show the world that we kick ass (so to speak).
In the recently concluded bout between Pacman and Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico, Ciara Sotto sang our “Lupang Hinirang.”
