“Walang Hanggan” features the undying love that revolves around characters from three different generations: the love triangle among Virginia (Roces), Margaret (Gamboa), and John (Eddie Gutierrez); the ill-fated lovers Marco (Gomez) and Emily (Zulueta); and young sweethearts Daniel (Martin) and Katerina (Montes).

Roces expressed excitement over their newest series. She said, “I’m a fan of teleseryes myself, that’s why I’m very happy to be part of it. But what makes “Walang Hangan” more special is that this is Helen and I’s first-ever onscreen project.”

Meanwhile, Zulueta, who is set to revive love team with Gomez, took pride in the narrative that they will be offering to the audience. “The story was so great, that it was hard to turn down the role. Everyone can surely relate with the characters’ journey,” Zulueta mentioned.

While Zulueta and Gomez rekindle an old onscreen romance, Martin and Montes starts anew. Martin shared, “This is a new challenge for me since this is the first time that I’ll be doing a ‘full love story.’ But I’m getting inspiration from the fact that I’m working with the best actors and actresses of the industry.”

Completing the powerhouse cast are well-regarded actors Rita Avila, Melissa Ricks, Joem Bascon, and Paulo Avelino; with the special participation of Eddie Gutierrez and Joel Torre. The series is directed by Jerry Lopez Sineneng and Trina Dayrit.

Another dream of Star Power winner Angeline Quinto is becoming a reality because Star Cinema is going to launch her as a movie star with no less than acclaimed actor Coco Martin as her leading man.

In an interview by ABS-CBN’s entertainment website Push, Angeline shared that it’s her dream to co-star with Coco Martin, her showbiz crush.

“Isa na naman sa mga pangarap ko ang natupad. Masayang-masaya ako kasi ‘di naman ako pinababayaan ni Coco. Tinutulungan niya po ako sa mga eksena. Alam naman din niya [na crush ko na siya noon pa]. So talagang siya lagi ang lumalapit sa akin kasi minsan talaga naiilang ako sa kanya,” she said.

Coco Martin has all praises for Angeline. In an interview by Showbiz News Ngayon, the actor was impressed by Angeline’s potential even though it’s her first time to venture into acting.

Angeline, on the other hand, was flattered after hearing what her crush had to say about her.

“Talaga sinabi niya yun? Nung una siyempre kinakabahan ako tapos naiilang ako. Kasi wala naman akong alam sa pag-arte. Pero ginagawa ko lahat ng makakaya ko para sa movie. At alam nating magaling na artista si Coco. Ayoko naman mapaghulihan ako. Tsaka marami akong pinagdaanan bago ako isinalang dito sa proyektong ito. Nagkaroon din kami ng workshops so sana maging maganda ang resulta ng team-up namin,” she said.

Aside from Coco Martin, Angeline also dreams to work with Piolo Pascual and Gerald Anderson in the future.

Star Magic Public Relations Manager Thess Gubi has released a statement regarding the reported fistfight between the two Kapamilya actors saying that it was a case of simple misunderstanding:

“What happened was just a simple misunderstanding. Both Coco and Matteo are sorry it happened. Everything has been resolved,” the statement said.

“Kung iisipin, swerte yung taong may tinuturing dalawang nanay,” Coco shared. “Kasi maraming tao dyan ang naghahanap ng nanay nila pero wala.

Coco added, “Pero mas mahirap mamili sa dalawang nanay na gusto ka alagaan kaysa sa dalawang babaeng may gusto sayo (laughs). Syempre iba naman kasi ang level ng ina.”

Meanwhile, “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” still reigns on its timeslot according to Kantar Media last Wednesday (June 29). Earning a national rating of 24.9%, “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” nosed out its rival,“Munting Heredera” of GMA 7, which only got a 21.6% rating.
