Entitled “Charice: The Journey Begins”, the Youtube sensation will mesmerize her Filipino fans in her fist major concert on June 27, 8:00 p.m., Saturday at the SMX Convention Center of the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

And the special guest on Charice’s big night is none other than Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez. Her fellow “Little Big Star” contestants will also grace the event.

After the concert, Charice will return to the US to finish her first international album being produced by David Foster.

The David Cook and David Archuleta one night concert is set to be held on May 16, 2009 at the SM Mall of Asia open ground. Both Cook and Archuleta both made video blogs to confirm the highly-anticipated concert their Filipino fans never thought possible.

According to reports, the back-to-back concert of Cook and Archuleta were made possible by Fearless Productions which is co-owned by actor Jomari Yllana and the Singson brothers.

According to Pineapple Concerts, the Malaysian agents for the Rihanna concert, a new date for the concert will be set within two weeks in light of recent events involving the r&b songstress and her boyfriend.

In Los Angeles, police presented the case against Brown to prosecutors, but were asked to conduct further investigation, said Sandi Gibbons, a spokeswoman for the L.A. District Attorney’s Office.

Brown’s celebrity attorney declined to give a statement.

There is no confirmed report yet from the police if Rihanna was indeed the victim of Brown’s attack on Sunday morning, the same day that Rihanna and Chris Brown were both scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards. All they said was Rihanna was cooperating with them through the investigation.

Rihanna‘s publicist, on the other hand, has issued only one statement: “Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support.”

19-year-old Chris Brown has been arrested for the alleged attack and charged with making criminal threats. He is currently free because of $50,000 bail.

The incident occurred in Brown’s car, and according to reports, Brown left the scene and police found Rihanna, 20, suffering from a bloody nose, split lip and bite marks in the vehicle. She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, but later released.

Rihanna and Chris Brown held a back-to-back concert here in Manila last November 16, 2008 and were both spotted shopping in Greenhills and chilling at a bar in Ortigas.

Rihanna is famous for her hit songs “Umbrella” and “Disturbia” and Brown is popular for his chart-toppers “Kiss Kiss” and “With You.”

It’s possible that the current American Idol will have his first solo concert in the Philippines before he start touring the US to promote his debut album.

In a report by Chika Minute on 24 Oras, David Cook himself divulged his plan to visit the Philippines. Based from an interview by CHUM FA in Canada, David said “We booked my first show, post-idol, January 27 in the Philippines.”

When asked if it’s a part of his world tour, David said “You know, I don’t know. I think the Philippines show will be a one-off and then we’ll start the tour in the States not long after.”

The 25-year-old rocker is currently working on his debut album which is due for a November release. David currently holds the record for having the most number of songs in the Billboard’s Hot 100 Digital Charts.
