Nicole Scherzinger and her partner Derek Hough dominated all the episodes throughout the 10th season of the top-rating ABC reality competition. Nicole bested Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek in the finale.

“I feel like I just won a Grammy,” she said after the show. “A dancing Grammy!”

Nicole and Derek performed a high-energy jive as their final dance dance and the crowd went crazy and judges were impressed! Len said “there were twelve days of Christmas, seven dwarfs, but there can only be one winner of this show and it should be you!” Bruno said “your dance is the crowning glory of this amazing season!” Carrie Ann said “I come to work every day excited to see what you are going to do.” Their score was a perfect 30.

Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy ended up in 3rd place.

Donny actually came second based on the judges’ score last Monday with a total of 85 points. It was RnB singer Mya who topped the leaderboard with 90 points.

But the so-called “showbiz legend” has the strongest fan base that overpowered the judges’ scores. The winner in the said reality competition is based on 50% judges’ scores and 50% people’s votes.

Donny surpassed her sister’s performance in the fifth season of the series. Marie Osmond finished third. This is also the first win for Donny’s partner Kym Johnson.

Osmond joins the ranks of past DWTS winners such as Kelly Monaco, Drew Lachey, Emmitt Smith, Apolo Anton Ohno, Helio Castroneves, Shawn Johnson, Brooke Burke, and Kristi Yamaguchi. At the age of 52, he is the oldest winner of them all.

The 29-year-old former church music director and “American Idol” finalist says he’d like to try “Dancing With The Stars,” in part because the Idol judges, specially Simon Cowell, regularly criticized his moves.

Gokey was back in Milwaukee for a free event Tuesday night. He wanted to thank his hometown for its support and raise awareness and money for his charity — Sophia’s Heart Foundation.

He says his first priorities are the foundation and making his album, for which he’s already started writing songs. But he says he would consider doing reality TV if it gives the foundation more exposure.

The charity, named for his late wife, will provide music and arts programs for kids.
