Teen superstar Justin Bieber has set a new record on YouTube by being the first person, dead or alive, to ever get a whopping 2 billion video views.

Bieber’s music page attracted 94 million visitors in the past month alone to go down in the history of the video-sharing website.

Lady Gaga was the first artist to hit the one billion barrier in 2010 but Bieber bested her to the feat this year. Gaga settled for second place while Rihanna, Eminem and Shakira round out the top five.

Aside from YouTube where he has 1,049,519 subscribers, Bieber has also dominated social networking sites like Facebook where he has 37,080,001 fans, and over 14 million Twitter followers.

When “Arthur Christmas,” the 3D, CG-animated movie from Aardman for Sony Pictures Animation and Columbia Pictures, rolls into Philippine theaters on December, Bieber’s rendition of “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town,” from his new Christmas album “Under The Mistletoe,” will play over the end credits.

In addition, before the movie, moviegoers will see the exclusive music video for the song, which will premiere in theaters only with “Arthur Christmas.” The video will be inspired by the movie and feature footage from the film.
In addition, the album’s debut single, “Mistletoe,” will be heard in select TV spots for “Arthur Christmas.” Bieber’s holiday album, “Under The Mistletoe,” is a seasonal mix of traditional Christmas standards with newly-penned holiday music largely co-written by Justin. The CD is available everywhere November 1st.

The 3D, CG-animated family comedy “Arthur Christmas” at last reveals the incredible, never-before-seen answer to every child’s question: “So how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?” The answer: Santa’s exhilarating, ultra-high-tech operation hidden beneath the North Pole. But at the heart of the film is a story with the ingredients of a Christmas classic – a family in a state of comic dysfunction and an unlikely hero: Santa’s youngest son, Arthur. Justin Bieber defends Will and Jada Smith against the nasty rumors being circulated about the couple splitting up.

Despite the denials of Will and Jada Smith, the aggressive rumors about their separation have not settled down until now. Justin Bieber, who works closely with the entire Smith family including Willow and Jaden, posted his thoughts on Twitter in an attempt to put an end to the rumors.

Here’s the tweet of the Bieber:

“Will and Jada are one the best couples ever. #FACT #real.”

It can be remembered that Will and Jada, along with their two children who are Justin’s friends, attended the premiere of Bieber’s hit documentary, “Justin BIeber: Never Say Never” which featured performances by both children.

Other celebrities who have also shown their support to the couple are Russel Simmons, Sherri Shepherd, and Will Smith‘s son from previous marriage Trey.

The Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez break-up rumor has been circulating on the internet since this morning. According to a report, Selena got pissed-off when she discovered that Justin has been texting his Filipino-American ex-girlfriend Jasmine Villegas.

Apparently, the rumor was ignited by some guy on YouTube who wants to get some attention. And he did! He is now being touted as the guy who started a “worldwide rumor.”

To prove that the break up rumor is not true, Justin Bieber made a surprise visit to girlfriend Selena Gomez‘ concert in Florida last Saturday.

Gomez, who looked surprised, embraced her boyfriend for a romantic hug.

However, the Bieber was forced to leave the concert because fans went berserk when they realized that he was in the venue. This was despite posting on Twitter earlier in the day that he was in Canada just to throw his fans off track.

But he was spotted still and the young superstar had to escape
using a back door, in order to avoid a deadly trampling of screaming tween girls.

After the show, Justin tweeted to his fans:

‘Had a #greatnight and surprised the people. felt good to be on stage. nothing is changing that. #REAL. @selenagomez u did great tonight. proud of u.’
