Lady Gaga took another step for her advocacy, fighting against bullying of gay teens around the world, some of whom have commited suicide in recent months because of it.

Colton James Boettcher from Wisonsin created the music video for the ItGetsBetter.org project and the Trevor Project using Lady Gaga‘s song “Hair” to let teens know that life does get better.

According to the latest survey of Forbes Magazine, Lady Gaga is the Top Earning Female Artist of 2011 (a.k.a. the Top Earning Woman in Music).

The “Born this Way” singer/songwriter has grossed a whopping $170 million on 137 shows in 22 countries over the past 12 months. And Earnings from radio play, recorded music sales and endorsement deals from Polaroid, Virgin Mobile, Monster Cable, Viva Glam, etch. are not yet included!

As for music sales, Forbes’ said Gaga earned $90 million in the last 12 months, more than the combined earnings of second and third placers Taylor Swift ($45 million) and Katy Perry ($44 million).

The music video for “Yoü and I” was filmed in Springfield, Nebraska and was directed by Lady Gaga’s choreographer Laurieann Gibson.

The music video begins with Gaga, dressed in black clothing, sunglasses, bloody feet and seemingly bionic features, walking through a desert in Nebraska; having returned on foot after years of absence. Gaga goes to buy ice cream from an ice cream van, but she suddenly drops it as a toothless man grins at her with a doll in his hand. She begins to then have flashbacks to her time spent in Nebraska as scenes of Gaga having a wedding, being tortured by a man inside a barn and being inside a water tank are shown in quick succession. The song starts playing as the camera slowly zooms towards Gaga, who is standing bent forward as she begins singing. The video continually switches to scenes where Gaga, with little make up, a simple gray-colored hair style and a white dress, plays a piano in the middle of a cornfield, while her male alter ego, Jo Calderone sits on top of the piano, smoking and drinking a beer. As Calderone pulls up his sleeves, present day Gaga is shown still walking through the desert.

During the second verse, a muscular mad scientist, portrayed by actor Taylor Kinney, seemingly tortures Gaga, who is wearing a yellow dress with glasses made of barbwire, as another version of the singer with teal-colored hair does a dance routine with her backup dancers in a barn. As the chorus begins for the second time, Gaga is portrayed as Yuyi the Mermaid, with gills on her face and neck, as she lies in a tub filled with dirty water. It appears the scientist is attempting to change Yuyi to human form. At the end of the chorus, the camera zooms to a brunette Gaga inside a water tank while she sings “You and I!” in the desert scene and in the cornfield with Calderone. Interspersing scenes again show Gaga having her wedding, Yuyi in her tub, and Gaga seated on a chair with a conveyor belt. During May’s guitar solo, Gaga is seen dancing in the cornfield with other dancers dressed in the same white dress, as Yuyi and the scientist kiss. While singing the chorus for the final time, Gaga kisses Calderone in one sequence and runs across the field in another. As the video reaches its conclusion, the tortured Gaga is seen being slid down as the conveyor belt turns on. The video ends with Yuri and the scientist together in the bath tub, as a depiction of their dream wedding flash across, before a final shot of the barn as the screen turns black.

Parody genius Weird Al Yankovic finally made a Lady Gaga spoof music video after getting praises from his previous works. The list of YankoVICTIMS include Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Madonna, Nirvana, Coolio, Dire Straits, and the late Michael Jackson.

When doing Gaga, there’s gonna be a thin line between mocking and saluting the Pop Monstress. I think with the sneak peek that has been circulating the net, Lady Gaga will love it.

The music video for “The Edge of Glory” was reportedly directed by Joseph Kahn. Rumor has it that Kahn, also the director of “LoveGame,” had an argument with Lady Gaga during the shooting of the music video and that he was fired by the Pop Queen. Interscope Records later confirmed that Gaga took over as the director of the clip, with the Haus of Gaga as collaborative directors.

The video premiered June 16 on So You Think You Can Dance.

For the first time, Gaga only wears one outfit throughout the entire video, a Gianni Versace creation. In addition, there were also no back-up dancers or actors.

Lady Gaga made a statement after singing her chart-topping self-empowerment song “Born this Way” and new song “The Edge of Glory” at the EuroPride rally held at Circus Maximus in Rome last Saturday.

“Today and every day we fight for freedom. We fight for justice. We beckon for compassion, understanding and above all we want full equality now,” she declared to thousands of people who graced the concert.

The US pop diva criticised governments in Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary and Lebanon for condemning young people to a life of isolation and discrimination and told crowd: “We’re all from the same DNA. We were just born this way.”

Lady Gaga’s speech concluded the parade through Rome where around 1 million participants criticised the Vatican and Italy’s government for condemning gay people.

“I want to tell the world, Europe and above all Italy, which is a bit closed, that we have the right to be treated like human beings,” said 25-year-old pop icon who donned a green hair and a silver dress with feathers.

Placards read “Different People, Same Rights” and “Papa No, Gaga Si”.

Barely a month ago, Lady Gaga was named by Forbes magazine as the Most Powerful Celebrity this year dethroning Oprah Winfrey (CLICK HERE for related article). She seemed to be using this power now to be the voice of the LGBT community around the world. Last year, she spoke out against the now repealed US policy which forced gay servicemen and women to keep their sexuality secret or face dismissal.

Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga pumped the highest season finale ratings for “Saturday Night Live” in seven years.

The NBC late night show ended its fourth season on a high note beating their previous season’s performance.

The sketch that draw viewers to tune in to SNL last Saturday was the “3-Way (The Golden Rule)” segment, which saw Timberlake, who was serving as the show’s host for the fourth time, with Andy Samberg and Lady Gaga singing about how it’s not gay if it’s a three-way.
