After “Boys Over Flowers” and “Perfect Match,” Lee Min Ho is back on Philippine television. This time, the Korean heartthrob will do some action in the upcoming Korean series “City Hunter.”

The series also stars Park Min Young as Kim Na Na, Lee Min Ho’s love interest, and Lee Joon Hyuk as Kim Young Joo.

Here is the premise of “City Hunter”:

City Hunter is an original script based on the world-famous novel by Japan’s Tsukasa Hojo. Since it became public that Korea would be the first remake of this story into a drama, City Hunter has been receiving worldwide attention. ‘City Hunter’ has switched the setting from Tokyo 1980 to Seoul 2011, and according to the original story structure, the protagonist becomes a city hunter and his character develops while resolving gratifying cases.

In the Blue House, he meets bodyguard Kim Na-na (Park Min Young), who helped in plot the revenge plans. Eventually, the two fell in love, and a story of love and revenge begins.

Lee Min-Ho, popularly known as Gu Jun Pyo in “Boys Over Flowers,” figured in a car accident around a lake in Ilsan during the shooting of his latest drama series “City Hunter”.

Lee Min-ho was doing a car chase scene when his vehicle crashed into a parked truck, according to reports.

The actor and his companion inside the car, a staff of the TV production company, were rushed to the Ilsan Hospital emergency room for examination and treatment. Fortunately, the actor and the crew member were protected by the airbags and both of them suffered no serious or visible injuries.

This has been the second time that Lee Min Ho was hurt on the set of “City Hunter.” He reportedly suffered a scraped/scratched knuckles after shooting a fight scene late last year.

Korean heartthrob and asianovela superstar Lee Min Ho, known for his role as Jun Pyo in Boys Over Flowers, is making a comeback via a new tv series entitled “Perfect Match.”

Originally aired in Korea with the title “Personal Preference”, the rom-com will pair Lee Min Ho with Korea’s Queen of Drama Son Ye Jin.

In the said series, Lee Min Ho will play the role of a straight guy who pretends to be gay in order to become the roommate of his love interest.

Perfect Match airs on ABS-CBN this November.

22-year-old Lee Min Ho is best known for his leading role as the leader of F4, Goo Jun Pyo, in the Korean adaptation of the popular manga series, Hana Yori Dango, titled Boys Over Flowers, in 2009. He started his career in 2006 since then has been cast in various TV shows, short dramas and minor movie roles.
