Matt will play the role of Bobit while Melissa will portray May, two young lovers that will endure all the challenges in their relationship.

The said episode is written by Joan Habana and directed by Roni Velasco. Also starring are Tom Rodriguez as Bong, Thara Jordana as Gina, Helga Krapf as Cristy and Charee Pineda as Marilyn.

The longest-running drama anthology “Maalaala Mo Kaya” will tackle young love this Saturday, February 5. The episode stars child actor Nash Aguas and the Multimedia Queen Toni Gonzaga under the direction of Dado Lumibao.

Also starring in the pre-Valentine episode of Maalala Mo Kaya are Sam Concepcion, Emmanuelle Vera, Robert Sena and Yayo Aguila.

“Maalaala Mo Kaya”, the longest-running drama anthology on Philippine television is celebrating its 20th anniversary this coming May. And to cap the celebration is a production of another MMK movie to hit the big screens.

The first MMK movie was shown in 1994 starring starring Aiko Melendez, Richard Gomez and Chin Chin Gutierrez under the direction of Olivia Lamasan. This year, Star Cinema is planning to produce another movie based on the top-rating drama anthology of all time.

Showbiz News Ngayon‘s Bianca Gonzalez revealed on Twitter that Imortal star Angel Locsin and Magkaribal star Bea Alonzo are starring in the said film. The director will be no other than Laurenti Dyogi.
