The time for Katrina Halili to be a protagonist in a tv series was well approved by the televiewers as her afternoon soap Magdusa Ka debuted at no. 1 in the daytime race yesterday, May 12, 2008. The new season of Sine Novela registered a 24.3 percent on its pilot episode.
On the other hand, the previous Sine Novela “Maging Akin Ka Lamang” starring Polo Ravales and Nadine Samonte, ended last Friday at no. 1 with 23.4 percent.

Magdusa Ka (Suffer With It) is an upcoming Philippine drama on GMA Network, as the eight installment of Sine Novela starring Katrina Halili, Iwa Moto and Dennis Trillo. It was adapted from the movie of the same title in 1986 starring Dina Bonnevie and Christopher de Leon.
