The NUTAM ratings for August 2008 are out and all four categories are dominated by ABS-CBN programs. The Singing Bee, Wowowee and Pinoy Dream Academy are the no. 1 shows last month according to AGB Nielsen Philippines.

The Mexican telenovela “El Cuerpo Del Deseo” on ABS-CBN conquered the no. 1 spot in the Daytime NUTAM race on weekdays. Wowowee, on the other hand, was able to top the Daytime NUTAM race on weekend again.

The weekend daytime and primetime leaders in the nationwide TV ratings for June 2008 both surpassed the 40 percent bracket. In Weekend Daytime NUTAM, GMA’s “Lethal Combination: Pacquiao VS Diaz” registered a remarkable 46% dislodging Wowowee in the top position. In Weekend Primetime NUTAM on the other hand, The Big Night of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus registered an astounding 42.2% while another PBB Special, “The Big Reunion“, placed second with 32.7 percent.

After being beaten by The Singing Bee by 0.2% last May, Dyesebel reclaimed the no. 1 position in all primetime tv programs nationwide this June 2008 by garnering 33.6 percent . Wowowee dropped to 4th place in the NUTAM daytime race giving way to GMA’s “Paalam Daboy 1952-2008“, El Cuerpo Del Deseo and ABS-CBN’s “Paalam Daboy” respectively.

The ABS-CBN noontime show Wowowee was able to defend its no. 1 position in the NUTAM daytime race as it topped the weekdays nationwide ratings by an average of 21.9% for the month of May. 2nd to Wowowee is Roxanne Guinoo’s “Ligaw na Bulaklak“.

AGB Nielsen has released the nationwide tv ratings for the month of May and ABS-CBN’s karaoke game show The Singing Bee bested April’s leader Dyesebel by a slim 0.2 percent.

The Marquez-Pacquiao II: Unfinished Business topped the daytime weekend NUTAM for March with a rating of 48.6 percent. Two Marimar specials made it to the top 10 – Marimar Memories at no. 2 with 25.9 percent and Marimar Isang Pasasalamat with 16.1 percent.
In the primetime weekend NUTAM, the mega-daughter KC Concepcion proved that she is a force to be reckoned with as her drama anthology “I Am KC” topped the list with 28.8 percent. Bitoy’s Funniest Videos and Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus were tied in second place.
