American Idol Results – 10 Minus One

March 27, 2008 by · 8 Comments

It’s American Idol results show once again and today, the top 10 will become 9. So who’s going home tonight?

In our power ranking yesterday, we find David Archuleta, Ramiele Malubay and Kristy Lee Cook at the bottom of our list. It’s based on how they performed, according to my own opinion with a little influence from the judges. If i’m biased, you will not see Ramiele in my bottom 3 list, ok? I know Kristy Lee Cook did better last night compared to her performances in the past but i find her song choice “indulgent” rather than “clever.”

Personally, i think the bottom 3 would be the “less popular” ones or those who have been in the bottom 3 before like Chikezie, Syesha and of course, Kristy Lee Cook. Don’t expect David Archuleta to hit the bottom 3 because the title is already reserved for him. The process of elimination week after week is just for technical reasons.

Amanda Overmyer Eliminated on American Idol

March 20, 2008 by · 2 Comments

It looks like contestants with a controversial story about them circulating on the internet are getting eliminated one by one. First was Danny Noriega who made fun of Christmas in Youtube didn’t make it to the Top 12. Next was David Hernandez. He became controversial when a story about him being a stripper in a gay bar proliferated on blogs, and last week David was eliminated.

Syesha Leads our AI7 Power Ranking

March 19, 2008 by · 6 Comments

Doing the Beatles night for the second week in a row wasn’t good for most of the Top 11 contestants on American Idol. The judges were critical on song choice that only Syesha Mercado was praised for picking the best one while the rest suffered from picking the B-sides.

Dial Idol’s bottom three are Chikezie Eze, Amanda Overmyer and Kristy Lee Cook. Slimtainment’s bottom 3 are: Amanda Overmyer, Michael Johns and Ramiele Malubay. Buddy TV’s bottom 3 are Amanda Overmyer, Ramiele Malubay and Kristy Lee Cook.

Guess what? We have a different bottom 3. Check our our power ranking after the jump…

Ramiele Malubay – I Should Have Known Better

March 19, 2008 by · 13 Comments

Ramiele Malubay sang “I Should Have Known Better” on American Idol 7 Top 11 Performance Night (Beatles Night Part 2).

Randy Jackson said, “I wasn’t jumping up and down, but I liked it.” Paula Abdul said, “Definitely better than last week.” Simon Cowell said, “It sounded like Chikezie was on the harmonica. I like you but the track sounded terrible. You picked a really mediocre song.”

Another song-choice tragedy for Ramiele?!
